NATIONAL DISC-GOLF COMMITEE

There is a new disc-golf organization in France : the FDGA association created in 1997 for enhancing the disc -golf development was dissolved to give birth to the National Disc-Golf Committee (CNDG) fully dedicated to disc-golf within the "Federation Nationale du Sport en Milieu Rural" (FNSMR, national federation for sport in rural area).

On Saturday June 12th 2004 volunteers created the National Disc-Golf Committee. The committee gathers active disc-golf members, who decided to join their effort and knowledge to follow the FNSMR Spirit. The commitee’s first duty is to sustain and develop disc-golf in France.

CNDG follows PDGA rules and their evolution. It organizes events like the French National Tour and the World Biggest.

In each European country where disc-golf is played such a federative committee exists. These committees organize national tournaments and guarantee the sport development. Committees members are usually also players.

As a result of their actions the number of tournament is growing and the number of players is increasing.
